! This week we ended up on the losing side tho. Unfortunately it was all down to ‘astute Captaincy!’ Bad fielding
performance. Average bowling but better batting. 25* from Big Ian and Avinash. Man of the match = Ben, runner up = Avinash

vs Stanstead Park CC: Very posh surroundings! Stately home ground!! Friendly opposition team, interesting pitch, uneven! Good
fielding effort, 5 catches in the field - (unheard of). Nice to win after a long time. Man of the match = James, runner up

vs Crawley on Tuesday.....We won! Remarkable after
being 3 wickets down for 5 runs off 3 overs. Well batted Dave Ward (25 no and 19 no) and Andy Cable (25 no). 113 a respectable
total. Good all round fielding performance with only 8 players (+ a youngling from their team) + a debut captain (Ben)! We
are on a roll! Motm Dave Ward, runner up Andy. vs
The Bell Inn.....good social game. Not enough runs unfortunately. Close game but we lost. Vel and Colin (25). Motm Colin.
